Kardinya Red Sox Ball Club is a Community Club not for profit organisation run by parents and volunteers from around the local area. We are based at Morris Buzacott Reserve, Prescott Drive Kardinya. Our purpose is to promote, control and manage the game of Tee-Ball by the Four F's:  Fun, Fair Play, Fundamental Skills and Family Involvement. We also encourage our older teeball players towards Little League Baseball or Junior Softball for our club. This allows kids to still enjoy the excitement of Tee ball while slowly picking up the extra skills for baseball/softball and learning to pitch, and hit a pitched ball!

Kardinya Red Sox have excellent facilities, being one of the only clubs to have lights facilities, a large clubroom, plenty of playing equipment, shade, a licensed bar and canteen facilities

Teeball is 3 to 12 years. Modified rules for our younger year groups. We play against other clubs in the district from the first week back of term 4 to the end of February each year. Training will be on either Wednesdays or Thursday afternoons.

TeeBall is a modified baseball / softball game designed for young children. It aims to develop hand, eye, bat and ball coordination, promote team camaraderie and good sportsmanship.

Teeball is fast, which keeps the kids interested and alert. Games are time limited to one hour with full rotation of all positions.

Teeball is fresh. It's a natural forum to teach basic skills like throwing, hitting, catching and running:- skills which the children can use later on to play whatever sport they like. Many tee ballers have gone on to represent the state and country in a variety of other ball sports.

Teeball is fun. Players bat at least three or four times each game, and will play in the field that many times as well. Sides change over every 10 minutes or so, which leaves no time for boredom!! The club sends teams regularly to the Lightning Carnival held early December, where players have the opportunity to play against normal Saturday morning teams from other clubs around Perth.

Proudly, Kardinya also sends teams to compete in the State Championships held over the March long weekend at Langely Park. All players are invited to tryout for these teams.

Teeball is an exciting sport for girls and boys as everyone gets to have a turn at all positions and batting regardless of ability.  Teeball is run by parents so every parent needs to be prepared to help out in some way, whether it's coaching or umpiring or taking a turn to score or burn a sausage!!!

Good luck to all teams and we wish to thank all parents who have volunteered their services and for their support of the children involved.

Machine Pitch

Machine pitch is designed to help young players transition from tee ball to baseball. It is a baseball game with a catcher and a coach who operates the machine which pitchers the ball to the batter at a constant speed and accuracy which helps the batters get confidence of hitting a moving ball.

This year we will have the machine pitch machine out on Friday nights after the games to give the kids a go.
